Click on the link to read ‘Embedding equality and diversity into everyday practice: Post 16 Education Toolkit’ produced by Equality and Diversity UK. This looks at some of the reasons for promoting equality and diversity in further education, and how to deliver them.
The Centre for Studies on Inclusive Education has a list of legislation and guidance for inclusive education, and includes some details of international human rights treaties.
‘Teachers’ Legal Rights and Responsibilities: A guide for trainee teachers and those new to the profession’ by Jon Berry 2013 3rd Edition University of Hertfordshire Press. The book covers things including professional duties, child protection, and cyber bullying. NB You should be able to borrow this book from your library.
