Discuss with your manager the process for keeping your setting's policies and procedures up to date.

Use the internet to research and read some of the policies and procedures of other settings offering childcare that specifically mention legislation, statutory guidance or Codes of Practice. Does your setting have identical policies? Are there policies that you do not have in your setting? Why might their policies and procedures be different? Remember – you must always know the policies and procedures of your own setting and follow them completely.
Discuss with your manager the process for keeping your setting's policies and procedures up to date.
