Be able to implement a learning experience which supports the development of sustained shared thinking in children

This video, produced by Laser Learning, explores children playing at different ages. From the young baby putting toys in her mouth to young children playing in the sand, all these activities promote sensory and cognitive development. By repeating a task the child develops their brain synapses. As the practitioner watches and interacts with the child they are able to record observations for child’s learning journey and discuss next steps with other practitioners as part of the planning. Supervised use of technology can also support cognitive development. Watch the video and make notes. Is there anything in the video you can use in your setting?
