You are working in the customer service department and one of your salespeople has called up to say that they have forgotten their password. He asks you to log in for him and give him some information about one of your largest customers. You have never met the salesperson and he is asking for some very sensitive data. He has also asked if he can borrow your log in details and password as he needs to print off some of the company’s documentation at home.

It is rare that there is just one way to respond to a scenario or situation, so do not consider that the response you have chosen to this scenario will be judged as right or wrong. Share your scenario with a work colleague and ask them to tell you if they think you have responded appropriately. Ask them to challenge your response if necessary.
