Case Study
Rishi organised an away day training meeting for 50 Westwich staff in May and there was a lot of negative feedback about the venue. The main complaints were:
The training room was too small
The car parking was limited
The tea and coffee was too cold
He met with Julia to discuss the venue for the November training and she suggested that he write a check list of things to do before booking the venue.
- What should Rishi put on his check list?
- The May venue was very cheap. What should he do if he wanted to use it again?
It is rare that there is just one way to respond to a scenario or situation, so do not consider that the response you have chosen to this scenario will be judged as right or wrong. Share your scenario with a work colleague and ask them to tell you if they think you have responded appropriately. Ask them to challenge your response if necessary. You do not need to submit this task for assessment unless asked to do so by your tutor.
