Case Study
Olivia has just started working for a local estate agent which has recently opened on the high street. The company have set up an electronic filing system to store their customer information; however, whilst she is a fairly experienced administrator, Olivia is finding it difficult to find the documents she needs. This is mainly because once she logs into the system using her password, she has to sift through one huge folder containing all the client files and it takes her a long time to locate the file she’s looking for. The filing system is poorly structured with no different categories and needs to be better organised in order to work more effectively.
