There have been several changes in procedures at your organisation recently. You have a member of the team who you have spoken to about their poor performance since the changes, and reminded them of what is expected of them. You have also had feedback from other team members who have voiced their concerns about the individual, and it is now affecting the productivity of the team.
  1. What might the reasons for the poor performance be?
  2. What points do you need to consider before deciding what action to take now?
It is rare that there is just one way to respond to a scenario or situation, so do not consider that the response you have chosen to this scenario will be judged as right or wrong. Share your scenario with a work colleague and ask them to tell you if they think you have responded appropriately. Ask them to challenge your response if necessary. You do not need to submit this task for assessment unless asked to do so by your tutor.
