- ‘Action Research: Living Theory’ by Jack Whitehead and Jean McNiff (2006) from Sage Publications provides further reading on the practice and theory of action research. Chapter 5. looks at how to generate quality evidence. Following completion of the course, this book will help extend and deepen your knowledge of the different processes involved in action research.

(2014) explains what evidence-based practice is and explores how practitioners can use the best available evidence when making a decision.
