You are caring for Andy, a 19 year old man with a temporary medical condition. Andy tells you that he has a substance abuse problem and once he recovers he is going to a rehab facility.
- According to the Department of Health’s guidance ‘No Secrets’, would Andy be defined as an adult at risk?
It is rare that there is just one way to respond to a scenario or situation, so do not consider that the response you have chosen to this scenario will be judged as right or wrong.
