A member of the team has requested a meeting with the manager. The team member has recently been on a course providing him with information about the Forest School Approach and wants to introduce the approach into the setting. The staff member acknowledges that the setting has a small outdoor area, and children do not use it every day. There is a nearby park that children and staff could potentially visit during the nursery hours. As the manager what information would you need before making a decision about this?Consider

If you were to meet this request how would it be implemented within the setting? Include the form of communication you would use with all stakeholders. It is rare that there is just one way to respond to a scenario or situation, so do not consider that the response you have chosen to this scenario will be judged as right or wrong.
