Case Study
You are currently working at a museum and have been asked to prepare output for a visiting class of 7 year olds who are working on a project about the Romans. You have prepared a PowerPoint presentation and a series of worksheets to hand out.
- How can you make sure your presentation and worksheets are fit for purpose?
- Is there any other way you could have prepared the information, or shared it with the class?
- Can you think of any weaknesses in these methods of preparing or sharing the information?
- Can you think of any strengths in these methods of preparing or sharing the information?
- How could you have improved on your output?
It is rare that there is just one way to respond to a scenario or situation, so do not consider that the response you have chosen to this scenario will be judged as right or wrong. Share your scenario with a work colleague and ask them to tell you if they think you have responded appropriately. Ask them to challenge your response if necessary. You do not need to submit this task for assessment unless asked to do so by your tutor.
