Each of the day staff are allocated clients and, in a motivational way, you offer a small reward to the staff member who designs the most innovative activity for their client group.

During the day you check on the clients and obtain feedback on their needs and if they feel the activities are appropriate to these needs, whilst reminding staff that there is a small reward on offer.

You collect feedback from your staff and head back to your office to research further resources needed to improve the quality of the activities on offer. You collect all the information you have and build it into a development plan that you need to submit to senior management.

It is rare that there is just one way to respond to a scenario or situation, so do not consider that the responses you have to the above scenario will be judged as right or wrong. Share your scenario with a work colleague or friend and ask them to tell you whether they think you have responded appropriately. Ask them to challenge your response if necessary. You do not need to submit this task for assessment unless asked to do so by your assessor.
