Ketan is a gentleman who has been diagnosed with early onset dementia and he has recently been admitted to a care home. He is very confused at times and occasionally communicates in his first language. He does not like going into the day room and prefers to stay in his own room. He enjoys listening to Indian music but some staff turn the radio off and insist he sits with the other residents. 1. How could you help support and maintain Ketan’s right to privacy, dignity and respect? It is rare t hat there is just one way to respond to a scenario or situation, so do not consider that the response you have chosen to this scenario will be judged as right or wrong.
