Emily has been working as part of the team for the last seven years. She has always been well thought of by those she looks after, punctual, and efficient.
However, in the last few months she has called in sick several times, often just before or after her scheduled days off. Some of the other members of the team have noticed, and also commented that she has been short of patience when dealing with individuals.

Share your scenario with a work colleague or friend and ask them to tell you whether they think you have responded appropriately. Ask them to challenge your response if necessary. You do not need to submit this task for assessment unless asked to do so by your assessor.
