Use the internet or your local library to research some common childhood illnesses in more depth.
Monitor local and national news for information about increased concern for particular illnesses e.g. measles, coronavirus, norovirus, meningitis etc. Make sure you know what precautions can be taken to reduce the likelihood of the illness affecting children and adults in your setting.
