Jasminder is 18 years old and has decided she wants a career in childcare. She has all the necessary attributes of honesty, discretion, reliability, and she is hardworking and understands and loves young children, but she gets bored very easily. She thinks this might be a very good thing as children often get bored quite easily and need a constant stream of interesting things and people to interact with. Jasminder, however, often gets bored with places and sometimes people, and is concerned that this might mean that childcare is not the career for her or that she is best suited to a particular setting or role in the childcare sector.
