Look at the following policies for another school in your area and compare them to your own school’s policies. How are they similar and how do they differ? What good practice do they show that you could suggest your own school adopts?
Think of a child in your school who has behaved inappropriately within the last 6 months. Review the way the school and parents dealt with the situation. Think about the child’s involvement in the process. Was the child encouraged to reflect on and modify their behaviour?
