Have another look at Tuckman’s four stages of team development and Lencioni’s five dysfunctions of a team. If you need more information, look back over the lesson and use the internet to research it further. Think about any team of which you have been a founder member. Examine your experiences in relation to the theories of either Tuckman or Lencioni.
- List two positive experiences and two negative experiences.
- How would you develop the team differently?
It is rare that there is just one way to respond to a scenario or situation, so do not consider that the response you have chosen to this scenario will be judged as right or wrong. Share your scenario with a work colleague and ask them to tell you if they think you have responded appropriately. Ask them to challenge your response if necessary.
