Theories, principles and models in education and training

Think of a lesson you have taught recently that has not gone as well as you had hoped. Using your understanding of reflection theories write a reflective account of the lesson under the following headings:
- What went well?
- How do I know ?(ie: student feedback, assessment results, outcomes)
- What did not go so well?
- How do I know? ( keep it evidence based rather than just feelings for example, the learners behaviour deteriorated when because I spoke for too long)
- What could I do better next time? ( keep to general principles rather than providing a detailed analysis)
- What will I change about my approach to the environment, my students and my delivery? ( this is the place to provide more detailed analysis of your performance and how it will be adapted for your next lesson.)
Think about what it means in general terms and what it means to you and your practice. Do you agree with this view of reflection?
