The EYFS profile is used in England to summarise and describe children’s attainment at the end of the EYFS, and is used to inform parents about their child’s development (as well as support the transition to KS1 and help Year 1 teachers). If you work outside of England, consider and research how you would inform parents of their child’s attainment at their learning in the early years. Be sure to look for any national guidance.
