A parent asks that her fourteen month old son does not have a sleep during the day as she is worried that he won’t sleep at night. The child is very tired and unhappy when kept awake.

2. How would you work with the parent to develop a shared approach to the child's sleeping habits?
3. How might lack of sleep impact the child's development and learning?
