Consider your current health and safety arrangements at your organisation and ask yourself:
  • What are your organisational procedures for the health and safety induction of new staff?
  • How robust are the health and safety monitoring procedures in your workplace?
  • How often is everyone informed of changes to legislation/regulation relating to health and safety?
  • What improvements could you implement?
In regards to your organisational risk assessments:
  • When were they last updated?
  • What evidence is there that the entire workforce has been made aware of the policies and reporting procedures?
Evaluate the effectiveness of the systems in place:
  • How can you make them more effective?
