‘Steps needed to manage risk’ from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) advises employers to follow five steps when carrying out a workplace risk assessment.

In the place where you work go into one room, identify the potential health and safety hazards in that room, and do a formal risk assessment on each one.
