You are the manager of a care home.

The Director has shared with you the news that she would like to change the shift patterns for all staff, giving all staff a mixture of late and early shifts. The reason for this change is to cover the lunch period more effectively and to provide better continuity of care for individuals. It does make sense, but you are nervous about how staff will react to the change and how you can convince them that the change will also benefit them.
