You have a learner who is very good at her job role, however whenever you ask her questions so that you can assess her knowledge and understanding, she struggles to provide you with sufficient explanation to show she has grasped it. You have also adapted the assessment to include asking her to write relevant statements, you have had discussions with her and included questions. Think about how you would move forward with this; what other support might you provide to enable her to move forward? Have you sought advice in the past regarding this learner? Who could you go to for advice? It is rare that there is just one way to respond to a scenario or situation, so do not consider that the response you have chosen to this scenario will be judged as right or wrong. Share your scenario with a work colleague and ask them to tell you if they think you have responded appropriately. Ask them to challenge your response if necessary. You do not need to submit this task for assessment unless asked to do so by your tutor.
