Find and read 'How to manage children's challenging behaviour' by Dr Bill Rogers, published by SAGE Publications Ltd.N.B. You should be able to find a copy at your local library service.
Lead a staff training session on promoting positive behaviour.
Seek agreement from your colleagues on the behaviour management strategies that are already in place at your setting, or that you think should be implemented.
Review your behaviour policy. Make sure that staff have clear guidance on dealing with unwanted behaviour and that the role of parents is given due consideration.
