- NHS England have produced a document ‘Monitoring health and health inequalities: A position paper’ which looks at equality based on the nine characteristics under the Equality Act 2010. Read the section 2 ‘Why equality and health inequalities matter?’ and look at section 4 ‘Questions and categories for equality collections’ which gives more information about the diversity of those you will meet.
- Find a copy of the 'Candidate Handbook for the Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care', published by Heinemann and read the pages on diversity and discrimination.NB.
